Compare between Aroma Ultrasonic and Nebulizing Diffuser
As there are so many diffusers and every diffuser are different from each other, you need to choose the best one that has no harmful effect. Ultrasonic aroma diffuser is one kind of best and modern diffuser. You'll get another diffuser- nebulizing. But there are a few difference between them and both of them are healthy and boost your energy.
There are thousands of different diffusers on the market. There are diffusers that use heat to disperse the essential oil in the room. These are problematic because they change the chemical composition of the essential oil, which counteracts their therapeutic properties. There are also diffusers that use water and steam to disperse the oil. These are also problematic because they dilute the oil, reducing the therapeutic benefits of inhalation. The last remaining two diffusers are ultrasonic and nebulizing. These both have benefits over diffusers that use heat and water, but only one is the best type of diffuser.
What is an Ultrasonic Diffuser?
An ultrasonic diffuser is an aromatherapy diffuser that uses electricity to disperse essential oils into the air. They break the essential oil particles down into their base molecules. These molecules are negatively charged so they disperse by attaching the positively charged molecules in your home. Ultrasonic diffusers use water as a transference mechanism but do not rely on steam. Instead the oil sits on top of the water and ultrasonic vibrations are created to agitate the water causing the separation of the oil molecules and releasing the negative particles into the air with a fine mist.
The Pros and Cons of Ultrasonic Diffusers
Ultrasonic diffusers are better than steam and heat diffusers and offer a few other benefits like being easy to clean and requiring little power. However, there are also many cons to ultrasonic diffusers. Ultrasonic diffusers release a lot of moisture into the air which can dilute the essential oils, so you are not receiving the full benefits of aromatherapy. In addition, a tank full of water can quickly grow mold and fungus. Most ultrasonic diffusers are made of plastic and look cheap and unsightly. They break down quickly, leak or emit a very weak scent.
What is a Nebulizing Diffuser?
A nebulizing diffuser works like a perfume atomizer. A small air pump blows air across a small tube creating a powerful vacuum that pulls the essential oil from the bottom of the tube to the top in a fine spray. This type of diffusion does not rely on any other elements to diffuse the essential oil, so the mist is entirely composed of the essential oil. Nebulizing diffusers also have air flow controls that allow you to determine the amount of essential oil being released into the air.
The Pros and Cons of Nebulizing Diffusers
Nebulizing diffusers are the best diffusers you can get. Since they diffuse only the essential oil molecules into the air, you are getting the full benefits of aromatherapy. They also disperse the essential oils more quickly than any other diffuser and create a much higher density of essential oils to air. The only con, if you can consider it a con, is that they go through essential oils much quicker than other diffusers because they are so effective at dispersing the essential oil. So it is recommended that you use a timer to remind yourself to add more oil if you plan on using your nebulizing diffuser all day long. Nebulizing diffusers are also more attractive than other diffusers because they do not require a large tank, instead they use small hand-blown glass tubing that is as beautiful to look at as it is to experience.
